This isn’t your typical stuffed-shirt engineering firm.
Albert Einstein once said, “Logic will get you from A to B. Imagination will take you everywhere.” As engineers, most everything we do (inside and outside of work) is based on logic, theorems, systems and formulas. But here at ETC, we encourage and empower our people to think bigger. To wonder “What if a product could do X?” then find a way to make it happen. To ask, “What’s the best that can be done?” then achieve it efficiently using our creativity and problem-solving skills.
This is where it gets fun.
Many engineering companies are highly compartmentalized. You’re stuck in a box concentrating on one area because that’s what most companies think they need to do - to be efficient and control costs, which won’t help you advance your skills or grow as an individual, not to mention what that kind of environment can do to your sanity. Not many people want to spend twenty hours, let alone twenty years, doing the same tasks.
